About me
Hi i am Mike, Visual Designer based in The Netherlands.
I am working on being an accomplished designer, which I aim for by staying curious and adventurous with my projects. For example, by combining Graphic design and photography with illustrations for posters, comic book illustrations in a painted-like style, hand drawn line-arts with watercolor backgrounds and many more! I'm open to all kinds of projects and am eager to learn and grow.
I like to create poetic stories and characters that can be abstract, absurd, tough or fantasy-like. The most important thing to me is that people find my work original.
I want them to think, 'I really have no idea what I just saw, but it was cool, beautiful, moving and maybe a bit weird'.
Besides being finished with my college bachelor in Illustration and Storytelling, I also have experience in working with pop venue Willemeen and also their music artists, to create their ideal posters for their events during my internship (to even getting the chance to model for the poster you see here!).
